This directory contains little kernel library, which contains essential components for verified boot.

WHAT IT DOES?
=============
It contains components for the following features in lk:
1. Security policy: permission for flash/erase and other operations to change the state of device.
2. Image authentication: used to verify the integrity and authenticity of image, which includes but not limited to logo/boot/recovery images.
3. Security info: devinfo is the module used to collect information required for security services.

LK security library contains:
1. libauth.a
2. libdevinfo.a
3. libsec.a
4. libsplat.a

HOW IT WAS BUILT?

lk security library is built from Mediatek ASF code base and it's not part of android.

HOW TO USE IT?
==============
These static libraries are in alps/vendor/mediatek/proprietary/bootable/bootloader/lk/platform/${PLATFORM}/lib.
They are required in LK building process. No further action is required to use them.
